A Brief History of Ault
Ault grew around a railroad siding that became a shipping point for nearby farms and ranches. The community took the name of grain buyer Alexander Ault, whose purchases helped farmers through difficult years. Incorporated in 1904, Ault's history connects rail transportation, grain trading, cattle and irrigated agriculture.
