A Brief History of Bennett
Bennett's story reaches back to the homesteading family whose name the town carries. The community developed on Colorado's eastern plains before formally incorporating in 1929. Its local history connects the Bennett family's role in the state's development with the growth of a lasting plains community east of Denver.
