A Brief History of Columbine Valley
Columbine Valley grew from a small group of families building homes around the Columbine Country Club in the 1950s. The homeowners organized a community that formally incorporated as a town in August 1959. Its origins connect postwar residential development, golf and local self-government in the South Platte River valley.
