A Brief History of Cowdrey
Cowdrey developed around the homestead and roadside services of Charles Cowdrey in North Park. A well, cabins, stable and post office helped establish the settlement, while a nearby school became known as the Cowdrey School. The community's story reflects how ranches, mail routes and education helped create small towns in the mountain valleys.
